Think! - Shoes
We have a huge range of sustainably produced shoes waiting to add that certain something to your outfit. Experience yourself the high quality of our Think! shoes. Think! makes sure to use high quality materials and unique patterns, making their hand-made shoes a real eye-catcher. But Think! shoes aren’t just a pretty accessory; they are your daily companion in all occasions. Therefore, Think! places special emphasis on a natural fit, comfortable heels and the highest level of wearing comfort. The anatomically formed footbeds and perfectly fitting shoe lasts make pressure points and painful feet a thing of the past.
In order to give your Think! shoe a longer life, it is possible to replace the insoles of closed shoes or sandals with new footbeds or orthopaedic insoles. When developing the collection, Think! pays great attention to the careful use of nature and its raw materials. Think! focusses on short transport routes, natural materials, fair social working conditions in the production facilities and an environmentally friendly production. This is what gives the shoes their unique character.

A particular advantage of Think! shoes is the use of chrome-free tanned leathers for the lining. The tanning of the leather takes place in Germany and Italy and is tested at regular intervals by an independent institute for technical chemistry.
Instead of treating the leather with chemicals, Think! uses almost solely tanning-rich parts of plants, for example bark, wood, leaves, fruits, etc., to tan the material. A distinction is made between hydrolysable (acid-forming) and condensable (sludge-forming) tanning agents. Hydrogen bonds provide the necessary bond between the tanning agent and the collagen. The large number of these bonds makes the tanning process relatively stable.
The above-mentioned parts of the plant are pulverised in the production process and are therefore much more pure and concentrated than the original parts of the plant. This tanning process gives the leather an extraordinary breathability, elasticity and smoothness. And this is exactly what makes the Think! collection so special. Although this type of tanning is more expensive, it provides the foot with extraordinary breathability and a skin-friendly, moisture-absorbing surrounding. You can recognise completely vegetally-tanned shoes, i.e. made from a vegetally-tanned material on the inside and outside, by the green pictogram in the shape of a flower located inside the shoe.
